With three decades of leadership in the nonprofit sector, Caryn Tomljanovich founded Fairview Consulting to help mission-driven organizations grow stronger, build their development strategy, lead more confidently and amplify the good work they are already doing.
Caryn's career spans community development, the arts, economic development, college access and higher education, giving her a rare, cross-sector view of what it takes for nonprofits to thrive. As Executive Director of Princeton AlumniCorps and Managing Director of Development for NJ LEEP, she built high-functioning teams, led successful capital campaigns, and raised millions of dollars in support of organizational missions she believed in. Along the way, she's developed a reputation as both a skilled fundraiser, strategic thinker and a thoughtful mentor — someone who invests as much in people as she does in outcomes.
At Fairview Consulting, Caryn brings her expertise in strategic planning, development strategy and implementation, communications and leadership coaching to nonprofits ready to strengthen their impact. Whether she's building a focused fundraising strategy, guiding an organization on its next strategic vision, coaching an emerging leader or helping a board sharpen its vision, her goal is the same, to help good work go further.
Caryn holds a BA in Economics from Connecticut College, an MPA from SUNY Albany, and a certificate in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from Cornell University. Her work is grounded in a deep commitment to social justice and a belief that strong organizations create lasting change.
